A large number of factors play a role in ergonomics; these include body posture, work place designing and environmental factors (noise, temperature, humidity illumination, and climate). The habitat rooms were suitable whereas the storage facilities/separate baths were not constructed ergonomically. The dampness of wall affected the health of the elderly people causing respiratory problems. The material used for door was not resistant against moisture. This again adversely affected the health of elderly. Absences of safety architectural symbols like main fuse board, switch outlets, fan & regulator etc. were the major shortcoming that caused inconvenience & hazards safety.
