Over the years organizations are facing the problem of abusive supervision. Compared with nonabused subordinates, abused subordinates have higher quit rates. Abusive supervision has a variety of consequences in the work organization. The harmful consequences of abusive supervision highlight both the theoretical and practical importance of understanding how this phenomenon affects not only subordinates but their families as well.
