Название: Pesticide and heavy metal residue in agricultural crops
Pesticides, an indispensable component of integrated pest management (IPM), can considerably reduce these loses. In order to assess the residue levels of insecticides in fresh fruits, grain, vegetable grains, 68 samples were collected from two main markets and different district of Karnataka State. On the basis our purpose the samples were extracted in acetonitrile, acetone and n-hexane. The extracts were cleaned up through Florisil column with petroleum ether +diethyl ether, n-hexane + acetone and dichloromethane+ acetone as eluent and were analyzed for residues. GC/ECD method was used for analysis of insecticide residues in fruits, grainsFor synthetic pyrethroid and OC a 25, 20 and 50 g well homogenized samples were spiked with known amounts of standard insecticides each at 0.1, 0.01(Mango), 0.1, 0.01(Grape) and 1.0, 0.1 and 0.01 mg/kg levels (grain) respectively.
