This is because putting up bank branches in the remote areas of the country is not economically viable. To help alleviate this problem, majority of banks in Kenya have now implemented Mobile banking (M-banking) technology in order to provide convenient and affordable banking services. However, this effort may not bring much result if the factors affecting adoption of M-banking technology have not been established.
