In my opinion, the Israeli experience started from Jacob “Israel” and his successors “the children of Israel/Israelis” until the establishment of the state of Israel or the Jewish homeland in the sacred, historic and Promised Land until the present moment (and, certainly, it will continue until the Doomsday), which is considered as a unique and very rich experience in human history.
