Alexander (Yevzerov) Ezer (1894–1973) was a Zionist activist, publisher and developer of commerce, tourism and industry in the early days before and after the establishment of the State of Israel. He was the chief adviser on tourism for the first government of Israel, organizer of the Middle East pavilion at the 1939 New York World's Fair and organizer of the 1928 and 1934 Levant Industrial Fairs ("Yarid Hamizrach", known for its logo the "Flying Camel"). He was the creative force behind the foundation of Binyanei HaUma (the Jerusalem International Conference Center) and the developer of the 1953 international exhibition "Kibush Hashmama" (Conquest the Desert). He was the president of the International Club of Hebrew Literature, and published himself books and articles on Israeli industry, culture, poetry and other issues.
